King Felipe VI to preside over the honorary committee of the Minning & Minerals Hall to be held in Seville

The Royal Household once again shows its support to the International Mining Exhibition, whose IV edition will take place from October 18 to 20.

King Felipe VI will chair the Honorary Committee of the Mining & Minerals Hall (MMH) to be held in Seville from October 18 to 20. This has been confirmed by the Head of the Royal Household in a letter sent to the commissioner of the MMH, Javier Targhetta. In this way, the Royal House once again supports the International Mining Exhibition, an event in the sector that this year celebrates its fourth edition and which has been supported by King Felipe VI since its first edition in 2015.

The objective of MMH Seville is to once again make Seville the great European benchmark for mining by attracting international companies to exhibit their products and their innovation and sustainability projects during these days in October, as well as to promote a meeting and debate space where to address the great challenges of mining linked to the energy and digital transition of the economy, where minerals play an essential role.

Organized by the Asociación de Empresas Investigadoras, Extractoras, Transformadoras Minero-Metalúrgicas y de Servicios (AMINER) and FIBES (Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla), The International Mining Exhibition has the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the collaboration of entities such as CONFEDEM (National Confederation of Mining and Metallurgy Businessmen), the Official Association of Mining Engineers of the South and COMINROC (Confederation of Extractive Industries of Rocks and Industrial Minerals), among others.

The MMH held its last edition in October 2019 with the participation of 150 commercial exhibitors, more than 900 congress attendees of 17 nationalities and 70 speakers of a top-level scientific program. During those days, the show received more than 10,000 visitors and held 2,000 business meetings.
